👍Loved the food .. it's authentic, fresh & simply spot on in terms of flavours. Quantity can be a concern for those having a above average apatite. 👎 Service was slow, really. In Mutton bhuna (4pc) for ₹400.. 1 pc was literally just Bone, which is indeed disappointing. It was later exchanged, but only after a bit of argument. Lastly there is a definite Space crunch which fails to give a proper dine in experience. All in all, it's worth a shot in terms of flavors but better to go in a smaller group of 2 or 3.

Savoring the flavors of Lucknow at a restaurant in Kolkata was a delightful experience. The GALAWAT's famous Rolls were tender and full of authentic spices. They also offer a true glimpse of Awadhi cuisine. The Mutton Biryani was fragrant and captivating, transporting me to the streets of Lucknow. For those seeking an authentic Lucknowi feast in Kolkata, this restaurant is worth a visit.

Galawati kabab was a little bit spicy (jal) with ulti twa roti was good enough but not heavenly, mutton Lucknowvi dum Biryani (2pc mutton) potatoes and egg optional (originality will lose if you choose with this biryani) with murg dumpukt (3pcs) was nice like traditional oudhi biryani good to eat less sticky.Nice i will give them 8 out of 10 . (Personal opinion) car parking is not very tough, price like any other good restaurant in Kolkata. We were budget free but after eating above items nothing is possible for me or my brother Rana and my driver Papu to eat . except water i dislike dessert otherwise i heard from others Shahi tukra is their signature dish but both Rana and i dislike sweet dish after heavy launch normally.

If someone wants to try Lucknow type food in Kolkata , then "GALAWAT" is the place. Very good ambience. Foods were awesome and delicious. Service is good. The items I tried - 1. Banjara Roll. 2. Ulta Kadhai Paratha. 3. Afghani Paratha. 4. Lucknavi Murgh Biriyani. 5. Kali Mirch Masala ( Boneless ). All the food items were just awesome !! Loved it !!! One must try these restuarant for a change from Kolkata based food !! It's highly recommended !! One problem with this restaurant is that , there was no water available for toilet purposes. This issue / problem has to be changed. Please do change this issue .... otherwise it will be a great problem for many of us as well as yours !! Please keep this in mind !!

A traditional Lucknow based cuisine thats served here at Galawat. They do present an authentic Mughal essence in both their food as well as ambiance. The interior will remind of some corridor within a Mughal palace. Murgh Banno Kebab is a signature dish from their culinary arts. Other than this, Boti Roll, Murgh Banjara Roll, Murgh Kalimirch Roll is also a recommendation. By tradition, their Galawati Kebab is also nice, especially with Ulta Paratha, thats adds a special taste to the item.
